  • Massage team

    We are always looking for caring hands to join our team as massage therapists. Expressions of interest are welcome all year round, however we will reach out only when in hiring periods.

    Suited to those who are nurturing to the core and that possess excellent self-organisation, communication, and customer service skills.

    This role sees qualified and experienced therapists performing treatments to SOS’s protocols and standards. 

    Our team of therapists are known industry-wide for their exceptional massages, with our treatments being highly regarded and sought after, setting the standard in premium spa experiences.

    We welcome highly experienced Relaxation and Remedial applicants with Cert IV, Diploma of Remedial Massage, or higher.

    • As a Relaxation Therapist, you will be required to have Swedish massage as a basis, with optionality for other styles and techniques including deep tissue capabilities
    • As a Remedial Therapist you will be responsible and required to have a thorough knowledge of the full variety of massage modalities and treatments offered, and able to perform clinical assessments of clients in line with your training.

    In your first week in onboarding to SOS, the focus is on a 2 day intensive training with our Senior Therapist in all of our protocols, standards, expectations, processes as well as Brand and Values training. This forms a crucial part of the training process to understand and fully integrate into the Massage team.

    Responsibilities:

    • To perform every treatment with the utmost guest care from arrival at the spa to departure.
    • To ensure treatment delivery follows the strict protocols that will be issued by the SOS team.
    • Ensuring that the spa is run in a consistent and professional manner at all times.
    • Professional presentation and approach to work
    • Beyond treatments, therapists are expected to uphold a high standard of hygiene, professionalism, communication, and product knowledge.
    • Willingness to help across all aspects of spa operations, including but not limited to cleaning, back of house operations, laundry, and customer service.

    Skills + Availability:

    • Cert IV, Diploma of Remedial Massage or higher
    • A willingness to go the extra mile for guests under your care
    • An excellent, clear, and consistent communicator (clients & colleagues)
    • Calm under pressure - at SOS we have a dynamic customer service environment
    • Self-led and adaptable
    • Flexible with your time, including availability to work nights and weekends

  • Bathhouse team

    On a rotating basis, we welcome applicants for Bathhouse attendants at Sense Of Self. These roles see people working in customer service and operations across the Bathhouse and Massage Studio.

    Suited to those with exceptional hospitality and retail experience who possess great time management skills, excellent communication capabilities, and a can-do attitude.

    We are keen to meet people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with a dynamic team, and those who have a genuine approach to guest services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring the reception, bathhouse, and all areas of the facility are maintained, are clean, are tidy, and sterilisation practices are maintained at all times
    • Replenishing stock in the space including laundry, amenities, food and beverage, and hygiene items
    • Making sure guests feel welcome and comfortable on every visit
    • Informing guests about the facilities, services and products when visiting the spa.
    • Ensuring all operational protocols are followed and upheld
    • Knowledge of products, and ability to share knowledge with customers
    • Showing attention to detail and immaculate presentation
    • Willingness to work across multiple disciplines
    • Assisting with guest bookings where necessary
